Advocacy Meeting with Key Influencers on Reformation of Abortion Law in Nigeria.

We recently held an insightful and impactful program in Ijebu Ode focused on the reformation of abortion laws. This important discussion brought together activists, legal experts, and community leaders to advocate for the rights of women and girls across Nigeria.

The current abortion laws have limited access to safe and legal abortion, putting countless lives at risk. The event highlighted the need for legal reforms that prioritize women’s health, autonomy, and access to comprehensive reproductive care. We discussed the social, cultural, and legal barriers that prevent many women from accessing safe services, often resulting in harmful and unsafe practices.

This program was a powerful reminder of why we need to continue advocating for a society where every individual has the right to make informed decisions about their own bodies. We stand in solidarity with all those calling for the decriminalization of abortion and for policies that protect women’s health and rights.
